Mumbai, India (BBN)-When Salman Khan collaborated with Vijayendra Prasad, who penned the script of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the Kabir Khan directorial became a major hit at the box office, setting all new records.
Now, the rumour mills are churning that the Dabangg star is once again teaming up with S.S. Rajamouli’s father. Vijayendra Prasad has proved his mettle in Bollywood with Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, breaking the box office records, reports the desimartini.com.
Despite the fact that the 2 films released on a gap of just 7 days, the flicks were a major hit.
DNA quotes a source as saying, “Salman loved the story narrated to him. He feels it has the potential to be another Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Salman will now scout for the right director for the film. It won’t be Kabir Khan this time”.
Confirming the news, the scriptwriter told DNA, “Yes, Mr Khan really liked a story I narrated. But all I can tell you about the story is that it is again based on the concept of humanism above all other values”.
He also said that this time the film wouldn’t be an Indo-Pak drama. When Vijayendra was asked about Riteish Deshmukh and Varun Dhawan showing keen interest in his scripts, he said, “It’s okay. Bollywood is most welcome to my screenplays. I’ve 40-50 scripts ready”.
